Electricians Competitor Landscape: ALISO VIEJO, CA

“Oh gosh this is hard because the technician that came was an absolute sweetheart of a guy, but completely unable to solve my stove installation job. I purchased a new stove to replace our old one and purchased two cords for the electrician to install, depending on which cord he thought was more appropriate, the three prong or the four prong. He was uncertain which cord he should choose, which did not instill confidence in me. Despite knowing I wanted a plug put in for the stove and a cord put on. He did not come prepared with an outlet. In order to move things along, I said let's just hardwire it like the old one so I could get the job done in a timely manner. Once he did that, we were unable to push the stove back into its slot because the conduit holding the wire wasn't flexible enough to bend. So now my stove sticks out a foot into the room. He couldn't come up with a solution so I told him to just leave it and wrap it up. I paid $300 for this! I just don't think he was experienced enough to handle this job and I don't think he's been an electrician very long. Additionally, the invoice was not from High Voltage Electric, but from Electricians Servuce Team. Are they farming out their work? Now what am I supposed to do? Pay somebody else to come and fix this? They also charge $60 to do the estimate.”
