Pasadena Electric Light(1/5)

We just moved into a house a month ago, and my husband spoke to someone at Pasadena Water and Power about switching over our service...well somehow in the chaos of everything, it didn't happen. So now, our water has been shut off, with absolutely no warning, no contact to us, no emails, nothing. It's a Friday so there will be no one in the office until Monday. Who does that to a family with young children under 5, at the end of day on a Friday so we have no way of resolving the issue? We have no family in state, so either we waste money buying gallons of water, or waste money on a hotel room. So heartless and disappointing.

Electrical Land(1/5)

I don't even think the actual company is located in Pasadena. I think it has local storefront but is somehow part of a network some corporation has bought out. Because every call I get from THEM is via an 800 or 855 area code instead of the local number. My heat and electric went out on Dec 24. I called them because they could get someone out the next day 9-12. And they pitch me on a $99 a month subscription fee to handle all my stuff. I agree. I waited from 9-11:30 then called to ask when he was going to arrive only to find out it had been CANCELLED. They never told me. I was frantic. I'm 70, have an autoimmune disease, have no heat and the electricity in my kitchen is off, meaning my food is not safe, my stove doesn't work, and my microwave doesn't work and it's 62 degrees in my house. They got someone out that day. But he couldn't fix it. The texted me that he could come that day and I said I was available and gave them another date. NO RESPONSE. Today, I get my contractor out here to look at everything and while she's looking at the HVAC system I get a text that a repair guy is coming at 3. NO NOTICE. No confirmation of the appointment. I text that I have to cancel. Their communication is awful. They text or call from a different number and I have no way to assign all these numbers to the company. Just now I got a text from them from a 251 area code which is in Alabama. Why are THEY texting me and not the local company? DO NOT use this company I think it's one of those things where a local company has been bought out by a corporation and that always means service and quality drops. I just looked up where the physical building should be and there is NO PHYSICAL BUILDING for this company. It's a lie. I looked up every number they used to contact me and their all VOIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol) It's a scam. VOIP is used by scammers to hide their true location. Lastly, I've people searched all the reviewers here and they have absolutely no internet presence, no Facebook, no social media. So I think they're made up.

Pasadena Electrician Masters(1/5)

My husband contacted this company because our breakers were tripped and he was unable to get them to reset. When the electrician arrived, after no more than 10 minutes, he told us he would need to “further diagnose” the issue and that it would cost an additional $250, on top of the trip fee we had already paid. We declined and called a different electrician instead. Within five minutes, the second electrician identified the issue and fixed it. It was a simple tripped fuse that wasn’t being reset correctly. This is absolutely unbelievable. The first electrician was either completely incompetent or intentionally trying to upsell unnecessary services. I’m relieved we found an honest company, because I can only imagine what other nonsense the first electrician would have claimed was “wrong” if we had agreed to pay more.
